The Fitneff Team has been traveling and meeting customers these past few months. We wanted to some highlights with you some of our travels to Alberta Professional Conferences:
In April, we attended the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA) Conference in Edmonton Alberta at the Shaw Conference Centre. With a beautiful view of the North Saskatchewan River Valley, we met with human resources professionals and practitioners. We had some engaging conversations about ergonomics and office wellness finding that many people have the same frustrations about how sedentary the office can be. Thankfully more and more companies realize that something needs to change! Office wellness has become a priority, and this was a great opportunity to discuss solutions that participants could take back to their company. A product that was of interest to many HR professionals was the Elevate DeskTop DT2 Sit-Stand Desk that can easily retrofit an existing desk for employees who require a quick solution to deal with spine issues due to extended sitting. A big “thank you” to everyone who stopped by our booth and to the HIRA 2017 for putting on such an informative conference! Congratulations to Gordon Wollenberg from FIRMA Foreign Exchange, the winner of our door prize the Garmin Vivoki Activity Tracker.
What is better than spending a sunny day at the Calgary Zoo? How about spending the day at the Zoo with 300 of Calgary’s fastest growing companies? At Calgary Chamber of Commerce’s REV2017 Conference, we spent the day introducing people to our product lines to entrepreneurs, business leaders and influencers in Calgary. We loved the chance to be a part of the entrepreneurship spirit and talk about some of our innovative products like Treadmill Desks and the Elevate DT1 Sit-Stand Desk. REV2017 was the perfect place to grow as a company, and we thank all the participants who included Fitneff in their learning experience. Congratulations to Pamela Gosselin from Sure System, the winner of our door prize the Garmin Vivoki Activity Tracker.
We finished the month of May attending the Alberta Occupational Health Nurses Association (AOHNA) Conference in Banff National Park. Surrounded by the beauty of the Mountains in Banff Nation we engaged great conversions about the long-term health implications due to sitting and inactivity in the workplace. Fitneff’s goal is to integrate movement into everyday life, and this importance was reinforced through our conversations with AOHNA members. Of interest to many of the attendees was the Core Chair to strengthen the core and Integrate Desk Pedals to enhance blood circulation while sitting Congratulations to Joyce Callaway of Enerflex Ltd., the winner of our door prize the Garmin Vivoki Activity Tracker.
